Travel to Ladakh - thesilipoint.com

I belong to a Middle-Class Indian family. Thanks to my parents, I have had a happy childhood and a good education. Due to my Father’s transferable Job, I have traveled to various parts of India and have lived long term in quite a few cities and towns. Since then, from a young age, I have become very fond of Traveling and immersing in various cultures and cuisines. Later after I grew up and started to work, I started traveling independently and with my friends. Now that I have covered my own Country, I want to see the whole world, travel to as many countries as possible. That would be my ultimate dream.

I have traveled with Family, with friends, with colleagues, with acquaintances, and on my own too. My style of traveling is not like a thrifty backpacker or as a Luxury Influencer, it is normal, I like my basic comforts and security. I like to travel at a slow pace which gives me time to experience the culture of the place in a non-hurried way. I do not travel to show off on Social Media or to impress any of my peers. Travels give me peace. Travel gives me a broad perspective of life and makes me believe in the power of nature more and more. Travel gives me immense happiness, unlike other materials we humans tend to collect. I do not desire Materialistic stuff that much as I used to before I realized this dream of mine of wanting to see the World.

If I have no desire to show off on Social Media, why start this page and a blog? For remembrance. I have loads of pictures stacked away in a large volume hard disk from my various travels, which might never see the light of the day. Post a trip; I tend to forget about the fantastic views and experiences soon. And I know as I age, this forgetfulness will only increase. I want to create an accessible travelogue in the process of sharing my personal experiences with a broader audience. I like to write; hence that will be another exercise too. I am not a professional Travel Writer or Travel blogger. What I am aiming for here is cataloging my travels in a technologically friendly way. I have learned and lived from quite a few blunders that I will share, too, regarding my travels. I hope I won’t disappoint you. In the process, you will know how a Single Woman traveler plans her trips, fund her journeys, and travel the world with an Indian Passport.
